Thanks for your feedback on exporting AppControl data. We’ll consider that as a future feature and discuss the options with our team. We are also working on letting AppControl itself have a longer history.

What maximum history would you like if AppControl could keep a longer history?

I was unable to install on Windows Server 2016. I’m a sysadmin and really looking forward to replace Task Manager with AppControl everywhere. Let me know if there are plans to support Windows servers.

@pdube Thanks and sorry for the issue with Windows Server 2016. I’ll see what our team thinks about this. Also, we need to put on the website what OS versions we support currently… haven’t done that yet.

Thanks for developing this app. I just downloaded it and tried to use it and it looks good!

I found one thing to report - in my case, the reported temperature is 10 precent lower than real temperature.

(Example - I have 50c and it reports 40c).
I have 9800x3d CPU.
If you need more assistant from my side I’ll be glad to help.

Great stuff so far!

One feature I am missing is a notification when services start/stop. I had this in Process Hacker 2.

Oh, also, in Process Explorer, I had a view where I could see open DLLs related to that application (I believe it was handles in general, so files, registry entries, etc).

Just some feedback, for an excellent application - I am really liking the events! That brings a lot of missing transparency to my system!

Sorry for the issue. We will try to reproduce and fix this. I have opened a ticket with our team. Is it possible the other source you are checking your temp with could be incorrect somehow? What is the secondary source so we can test against it?

Thanks for your reply. Having 39-40c is not realistic number for 9800x3d. In addition, while in BIOS it says around 45c which is the lowest I have. on IDLE, checking with various of applications I get around 50c

Hello everyone,

A portable version is already available, or could it be considered for the future ? (with no installation required, usable from a USB drive or local folder) it would allow to use AppControl without needing admin privileges.

I believe this would also be helpful for other users in professional, educational, or shared environments where installation rights are restricted.

Hello! Appcontrol is very great! I use it on my home server. I love the historical resources monitoring.

For improvement I’d like to access it on lan/web, something like liking appcontrol on my portable computer to the one on my server and display remote usage etc…

Or phone app to link on the remote computer

Thanks for your feedback. We have to use a driver, so it’s hard to make a portable version unless it’s just a basic monitor I think. I’ll discuss with our team. Also, we move quickly towards localization now (French as a priority).

For the alerts section, it would be great if we could add safe apps and safe folders feature. I develop apps using Visual Studio and it was annoying to have unsigned app alerts when I run or debug my own applications. Ideally I would like to keep the alert for unsigned apps on, but would like the ability to disable alerts for certain apps that I trust as well as entire folders where I store my development files.
