Am wondering.
I tried searching first for “vpn” but found nothing, so figured I post.
Wanted to try your program but it will not run while my VPN program is running. Just says it is disconnected and will constantly try to communicate to a local server. I am unsure why it needs constant online access to monitor things on a local desktop (maybe I missed that part in the documentations).
Is this intentional, or something being worked on for the future?

@BorgInva we have never heard of anyone reporting this before. Our team members use VPNs and we are not aware of this issue. Is it possible to share the VPN type you use? If you don’t want to share to the public please click my name and message me privately.
AppControl should work completely fine with ANY VPN service.
I have an idea. AppControl connects locally to its Windows service (it’s just a connection between our user interface and the Windows service that has the resource usage data). Perhaps the VPN you use has a kill switch that is configured to kill all local applications that talk to their own local services?

Well, that worked.
The kill switch being turned off allowed the program to run. I turned it back on, even reset the program, and it still runs. It is supposed to just stop internet access if the VPN drops/changes (not always reliable) but apparently it was blocking something within Window$. I never thought about turning that switch off for a local program. Will play around with this more now.
