GPU reporting 30% higher usage than Task Manager.

Sorry for the issue. May I ask what hardware this is so we can try to recreate/fix it? Also, is this a virtual machine or something unusual?

I have noticed that when re-encoding video, the GPU stat is sometimes 0% but the Video Encoder is showing around 30-35%, From what I understand, Nvenc has it’s own dedicated hardware which explains where those stats come from and why GPU stat is usually much lower? Probably just a totally unrelated coincidence but I thought I would mention it just in case.

Regarding the difference in GPU usage, I am experiencing the same behavior as @extranet.
In my case, the discrepancy seems to come from the GPU usage attributed to the browser Floorp (a fork of Firefox). I currently have a Twitch stream running in 1080p in the browser.
The Windows 10 Task Manager reports about 4.8% GPU usage, while AppControl shows 14%.
All other processes appear consistent between the two applications.
Personally, I tend to believe that the value reported by AppControl is more accurate in this situation.
I hope this information helps with the investigation.

Our team is still investigating, but I think this may be because we currently aggregate all GPU engines into a single combined usage value, whereas Task Manager reports activity per individual GPU engine (like 3D, Copy, Video Decode, etc.), so its breakdown can look different from our single total.
