It’s been a week or a bit more since I powered up my test system.
I noticed the Events panel was empty. “No relevant results” for All Events or for any selected event(s).
Bazillions of apps and publishers (from all my previous testing) are present in the Apps and Publishers drop-downs.
How long is the history?
We keep everything for 3 days to keep resource usage as low as possible. We are working to add a longer history in the future, plus the ability to keep events indefinitely.
Meanwhile, you can go to the “Apps” tab and it has all your apps and if they accessed your webcam, mic, or location, permanently there.
It’s working well, then. It’s a good idea and I just wanted to know exactly the length of time.
Choosing a time span or indefinite is something to look forward to, the latter being the hard-set default in that “other one.” I like to filter on a just-updated app and compare it to the alerts from previous update(s) or its installation and first run.
