I see that a Microsoft process accessed my mic on Feb 17th. Is there a way to see which process accessed my mic? If not, maybe a feature enhancement would be to store that information. I’m sure it would be a lot of information, but maybe store just the last time for each system resource for each process? If that is still too much information, maybe only store it for a short amount of time (maybe 2 weeks).
At first I didn’t understand what you were requesting and I had to look at my own AppControl for awhile, but now I get it. It shows a Microsoft Published app accessed your mic at that time and date, but there isn’t an easy way to figure out which app did it if it was more than three days ago. I agree that’s frustrating!
I will share with our team. Thanks for noticing this!
Oh well. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
A colleague reminded me that you only need to go to your Apps tab, then check the box. The data in the Apps tab does not expire. Did you find it?
@john_faig were you able to find what was accessing your mic?
