Suggestion: ability to relocate AppControl data files

Are all the data files related to capturing history located at c:\ProgramData\Appcontrol?

Right now, I have my data retention set to the max of 3 days and there are 4 files there totalling 185MB. Is that a reasonable number (realizing that there is no one “normal” amount of data that will be stored)?

If you entertain my other suggestion to allow more than 3 days of data retention, this could grow considerably, I would guess.

Could there be a way of moving data retention stuff off my C drive (limited space on my SSD) to another, slower HDD with tons of space. Would there be a huge impact on performance to do that?

Yes, the AppControl files are stored in that location and that size you mention is average and correct I think.

Thanks for your feedback of the ability to move the data, and we’re also considering an import/export function along with having longer histories.
